It’s time again…and Gayle’s not thrilled about her “African” inspired zebra print dress from yesterday…just not her style. But you have to give her props. She wore it all day…or at least part of the day. The pretty yellow dress today works so much better…Let’s get on to today’s topics.

• About Rural Columbia Sex Strike – It takes a woman…that’s all I have to say.  It just takes a woman…
• About THE alcohol video – Alcohol and Kids…never good.  The teens were playing around on the escalator and fell 30 feet…and is lucky to be alive.  Shane O’Malley, you are one lucky kid. Learn from this. Do better with the lesson.
• About Lauren Spierer – Keeping the story alive…Gayle is doing her part.  Prayers and good energy for her family and friends…I can’t even imagine.
• About Rocco Dispirito– I’ve loved Rocco for a LONG time…so, knowing that he was going to be charming and chatting with Gayle just made my day!  His new series he says Gayle got it for him. She agreed to do the pilot…and he is so appreciative…and so cute.  Gayle would go to every party I bet.  So would I!  So…the show – 3 chefs. 1 Dinner Party. $20k at the end to the winner.  It’s FUN!  I watched the first show from the treadmill – and couldn’t wait for the 2nd show.  Definately catch it on Bravo.  Another hit!  Bravo, Bravo!  So…here’s a little bit of the interview. 

Chef Rocco DiSpirito on Why Chefs are Sexy

• About Kami Lewis Levin and the NY Post story on what – Smokin’ Pot Mamas? – Fellow writer/blogger (I always wonder why is the / in-between the two? I mean…are they not synonymous for the same action?) of momswhoneedwine.com is talking with Gayle about the NY Post story on working mom’s who use substances to alter their stress in their lives.  ANY parent who uses drugs and alcohol to ‘cope’ may not be making the best decision…just an observation. Gayle has Kami on to talk about why women turn to anything…just to help them cope.  Founder of the momswhoneedwine website,  Marlie Borden, skyped into the conversation to add that she thought the article was a “little absurd” to say it was a “trend” and maybe the writer overreached.  Gayle notes that it “is still illegal” and I’ll just add it – if social services say it…you’d get your kid taken away.  Really…is it worth it? Plus, the munchies alone will add hours to your workout.  I think that Marlie was right on – “It’s less about mom’s needing wine, and more about mom’s needing other mom’s.”  
• About…OMG…the Pajama Jeans – Gayle said she wanted to try them…and man, they are ON THE BALL!  Overnight, they sent her a pair. The verdict?  With an unfortunate picture…Gayle says “Pajama Jean, it’s not you…they just don’t look good on me…they feel great, they fit great but…” not for Gayle. 

On to cope with the day…feeling like I need some brownies with all of this “pot” discussion…just sayin…
