Rosie kicked off the show with two, young stars from the new Matt Damon flick, We Bought a Zoo”. I haven’t heard much about the film, but the trailer looked great. Take a look and then we can get to the interview!
Both young stars, Elle Fanning and Colin Ford, actually knew each other prior to filming. They currently go to the same school which makes it a bit awkward for them being that their characters have a love interest. It has to be hard to be in 8th and 9th grade and hear the ribbing. But hey….all they have to say is “I was in a film a Cameron Grow film with Matt Damon and Scarlett Johansson”. That should keep them quiet. Many may recognize Elle as the younger sister of Dakota Fanning who is currently attending NYU. What a talented family!
Both of them shared their favorite holiday treats. Colin was all about peppermint hot chocolate and Elle made a marshmallow treat that I am thinking I totally need to whip out when the next group of teens take over the house. Take a look at what I am talking about.
Hunter Parrish from “Weeds” then joined Rosie on stage. He shared a sweet story of how when he was young, he was sitting in the audience at a Broadway show when he began crying. When his mother started to take him out, he shared that he was crying because he wanted to be on stage. What a clear whisper of his destiny. After reliving stories from how he caught the acting bug and his transition into becoming an incredible actor and performer. I felt so horrible for him when he told us the story of how he fell into the water on stage wearing white boxer shorts….and then had to emerge and continue singing. Note to Hunter – next time wear a white speedo underneath, just in case! Now performing as Jesus in
It has been awhile since we have seen a game on The Rosie Show but tonight she pulled out “Odd One Out” where contestants basically choose one thing that’s not like the others. Enjoy the clip!
