• On Capital Hill Votee Remorse – Just so glad this is over…but I think it came a little late. It did not make it look like we had it together at all…AND 4000 people at the FAA are out of a job because Congress is away on break until September. It’s all politics for Capital Hill…for the rest of us, it’s real life.
• On Deborah Roberts and “The Help” – A runaway best seller…now, the movie is coming out August 10th and I can’t wait to see it. About relationships…history…real people. Deborah talks on her ABC 20/20 show about the real life version of the relationship of black and white families…
• On Allison Janney and “The Help” – Allison is in the movie, “The Help,” and talks with Gayle about the power of the movie and of Southern hospitality…and the wonderfulness of this movie. I can’t wait to see it!
• On Isabel Gillies -Actress and Author, Isabel’s new book, “A Year and Six Seconds” sounds like an adventure story of finding life and love after divorce. Her journey is captured between the pages. Here’s a little on the story. It looks like a heartfelt book…worth taking a look at for sure!
