Today, Oprah’s talking about beliefs in her lifeclass – what you believe is true for you? possible for you? Here are my notes…
- Believe for yourself…that there is something bigger…greater…more for you.
- At different times in your life, the call will be different. To find your purpose – pay attention the the life you are leading now.
- Be still and listen – You can’t allow the voices of the world to drown out the voice of God.
- Know this: We deserve and are worthy of the best that your creation has to offer. Believe that there is a reason why you are here. Understand that it is your job to follow that belief.
- In life, everyone around you is a teacher for you…open your eyes and heart and learn.
- Case Study of Jim Carrey – If you can see it and believe it, it is a lot easier to achieve it. See your dream…BELIEVE. Live in the space of writing it, visualizing it, seeing it for yourself, and then letting it go. Letting it go but moving in a direction of working toward it. Nothing happens at first, it’s over the process of the time, the effort and the energy that you put into the thing that the energy comes out. Be patient.
- Believe…Through God all things are possible. A mustard seed lesson – If you have the faith of a mustard seed, you can move mountains and anything is possible.
- Case Study of JK Rowling – She was a writer and she knew she was a writer and what writers do is write. They write whether 15 people or 15 million people are reading it. If that is what you believe you were born to do, you do it. You find a way to allow the truth of yourself to express itself.
- You are worthy of happiness, love and peace. Believe it.
- You become what you believe.
- There is a heart calling for you that is only yours and that can only be expressed by what you have to offer the planet. Believe in yourself. Listen to your whispers.
- Case Study of Ralph Lauren – Believe. Set the vision and work to achieve it. AND…don’t give up on your dream. Have a passion for what you do. What you know that you believe…hold on to that belief and don’t be compromised in any way. Always be yourself. Be you.
- Dreams come true.
- Know what it is that you believe about yourself. Think about it…and know that you become what you believe.
- You are where you are in your life because your actions and energy brought you here based on your beliefs.
- Many of us are where we are in life based on what you believe. It’s not just want you think you believe on the surface, it’s also your shadow beliefs that are holding you back from moving into the life that you believe you deserve. If you are not looking at the shadow beliefs…the tape that is running through your mind telling you that you are not good enough, not worthy enough, not smart enough, and that you are not enough (a tape that is playing for a lot of people)…if you’re not conscious of that, then you end up acting out of that belief system and not from what you know to be or want to be the truest for yourself.
- You don’t become what you want because so much of wanting is living in the space of what you don’t have.
- Believe it to be true…and so it shall be.
After the OWN class, Oprah spent almost 90 minutes with Cheryl Richardson, Sheri Salata and others in the Live webcast…and even staying after class. It was intense…with a clear message. What you believe is what you become. So…why don’t you just believe great things. You deserve it. Here is a link to the webcast. Thank you Oprah!.
Paula-thank you for your Oprah Lifeclass notes! Wonderful resource!
Thank you! Thank you! Thank you! There are wonderful messages and I just feel like I need to share them with the world…and if it helps one person to remember something that was said to help them have a better day or to change their lives…then, that’s AMAZING!
Thank you so much for great people, great teachers. One mentor/teacher, Jack Canfield, who taught me to post my goals. For many years I’ve known I will make a difference in the world with my words. I’ve published one book and am working on two. It’s been a difficult and wonderful road, while working a full time sales job, taking care of elderly parents and contining to put my dreams on hold, but I know it will happen. Sometimes dreams can take a detour. I’m teaching a class on Going for Your Dream No Matter How Long It Takes. One goal I’ve written for years is that Oprah will interview me in Maui. Over the years I’ve learned that the dream sometimes doesn’t always look the same, so hopefully on April 2nd when I’m in the audience at the Oprah Lifeclass, my words will make a difference, if I’m called on by Oprah to help others believe in their Dreams No Matter How Long It Takes.
