Life can change at any moment…know that. Be aware. Take it all in. Months ago, I heard a whisper…”Just keep doing what you are doing…” It came when I was thinking about The Daily OWN…wondering and questioning…is this what I am suppose to be doing? “Just keep doing what you are doing…” is what I heard.

Now, I know my “whisper” voice. It sounds very different from my “ego” voice. My whisperer is calm … no panic… no arrogance… no stress. Not like a whisper at all…just calm and strong…always leaving me with the same feeling…it’s all going to be all right. And I never really thought about it until now, but my whisperer shows up all the time. When I’m stressed, depressed, thinking about life…or just drinking a cup of coffee at a noisy Starbucks and making a list of things to do before going to the OYou! conference. When I slow down…stop…and breathe…there it is. “Just keep doing what you are doing…” When it speaks, I listen…

Last night in Oprah’s Lifeclass…when she was talking to JK Rowling, it stopped me. Not because of my great love for her writing…or the connection that I feel to her soul that she pours into the books…but for what Oprah said. “Writers – They write whether 15 people or 15 million people are reading it. If that is what you believe you were born to do, you do it. You find a way to allow the truth of yourself to express itself.” I’m not sure that I was born to author a book…or even a Hallmark card…but I am sure of one thing. On January 1st of this year, my whisperer told me to find Oprah’s new network…and then for 2 weeks, my whisperer kept telling me…”Yes…Do this.” So…I’m believing…and doing…because I am trusting the whispers.
