OWN has another docu-series on the way! 44 Blue Productions is in the process of casting and creating a series based on Army spouses in Alaska – “Army Wives of Alaska”. The unscripted series will follow real Alaska families as they deal with struggles of those left behind during deployment. With the Army being supportive of the project, the series will focus on Ft. Wainwright and Ft. Richardson.

The production company will begin casting in both Anchorage and Fairbanks the week after Thanksgiving. The series is slated for 6 to 12 episodes and filming is scheduled to begin in late winter and continue through early June. They are hoping to air late next year.
