Our feet are our foundation. I can’t tell you how many times I have ended my day staring at my feet thinking “you poor things”. They carry my entire body around and get me to where I need to be. However when it is time to pamper my body, the feet are usually the last to get any love. So today, I am sharing with you something that I saw a little earlier this week…a gift that you can give to your own feet.
Take 1/2 cup of whole milk, add a few mint leaves, a few rosemary leaves and simmer it for 15 minutes on the stove. Allow it to cool so that it isn’t too hot. Soak two large washclothes and wrap each foot with one for 15 minutes. Be sure to put a towel under your feet so that you don’t create a mess. Your feet will love it!
However, my personal favorite trick…put a little lotion in a microwave safe bowl and heat it just a bit. Add a few drops of lavendar oil if you have it. Give your feet a nice massage being sure to cover even the tops of your feet. Put socks on and sit back and enjoy. Just allow your feet to relax and soak it in. This works great for hands, too.
