Last weekend on Super Soul Sunday Oprah sat down with best-selling author Sarah Ban Breathnach to discuss how fame changed her life. After writing her best-selling book, Simple Abundance, she found herself lost in the high life. Living anything but simply.
She went from weekly champagne celebrations marking another week of her book on the best seller’s market to deep, dark moments and the humble experience of having to move in with her sister. Showing up on her sister’s door with little more than her cat.
Not everyone is ready for success. If you aren’t grounded then it can literally lift you off your feet and totally uproot you. Her lessons were profound and in Oprah’s in-depth interview with the Simple Abundance the author shared many of them with us all. When you want answers, ask. When you need help, don’t be afraid. Just ask. […]
