Good morning Gayle!  Up and chipper, I just don’t know how she does it.  When I finally fell asleep last night, Gayle was probably already up and on her way in to one of many of her jobs.  Well, today I’m up early and with already ONE cup of coffee down, I’m ready…it’s time…Good morning Gayle!

• About Rosie –  Like so many of us yesterday, Gayle had her priorities!  ROSIE and OPRAH!  Gayle admits that she was just like the rest of us…rushing home to see the first Rosie show and make sure that she was comfortable and ready…for a night of OWN!  And tonight, we will be doing the same with the rest of the world!  Rosie was amazing last night!  So relaxed…Ro and Gayle chat about kids and Chicago and it’s new found LOVE for Rosie.  Did you know that she hasn’t had to pay for a meal yet?  They keep telling her how great it is to have her…and comping her meals.  Like a proud grandma from the South! Talk about finding Southern hospitality out of the South! I LOVE Chicago!  Catch the interview…it’s a great one.  Rosie and Gayle…like longtime friends.  You can see the ease…So, about the “LIVE” thing…yes, these are the LIVE women of OWN…because just like Gayle, Rosie is hoping to be LIVE everyday by the end of October.  WOW! Talk about the fearless women of OWN.  Here are two of them!
• About the Manzo’s and Bravo’s RHWoNJ – So I must admit that I haven’t gone down “that” reality road of Real Housewives but I think Gayle (and Rosie too) have made me have to take a look at it…maybe some rainy weekend.  I mean…it sounds like the “Real World” for grown-ups.  So, as Real Housewife of New Jersey, Caroline and husband, Albert, visit Gayle it makes me think that this just might be real family drama magnified.  The Manzo’s seem so normal and like such a nice couple.  Maybe it’s real…and maybe it’s just that Gayle makes everyone seem so normal and nice.  Guess I’ll have to stop on Bravo and take a look.  If you don’t hear from me…you know I’m in a “Housewives show-coma.”
• About what women can learn from men at work – Nicole Williams, Gayle’s resident Workplace Expert (I love these titles), talks about how men can often move forward from workplace differences without taking it personal.  Wow…so here are some of the things on the list…and these are vaild.  Men don’t take it personal.  Men don’t apologize.  Men externalize. Women internalize. Women don’t ask.  Women don’t take the same kind of risks.  Men ask for what they want.  Men expect you to like them.  
• About  Gayle’s 3 things to know – Today, it’s what you need to know to win an argument and Judge Marilyn Milian is here for some help. 1. Timing is everything. 2. Open your ears. Listen to the other person.  3.  Arm yourself with evidence and facts.   Here is another tip…just walk away.  You win not being part of an argument!
