• On Spanx – Gayle is asking for a subtle redesign of a personal nature. Let’s just say wider opening and velcro attachment were terms that were used.  Spanx…get to work! 
• On Congress – So disappointed.  Oh, for Pete’s sake, get it together Capital Hill.
• On Shopping Mall Safety – Be careful people…be aware of life around you.  Serial butt slasher in the DC area. What a very disturbed person…not good.
• On Tim Gunn and the newest season of Project Runway – YEAH!  I LOVE Project Runway!  Just to see the real challenge and fun of the show…and channel my inner designer is fantastic.  And Tim Gunn…just amazing.  “Make it work, people.”  For those who were wondering, Tim sleeps in proper PJs…and has a happy birthday tomorrow.  Polite, funny, well dressed…why are ALL the good ones on the other team?  Here’s a bit of the interview…Tim Gunn, making it work on the Gayle King Show!  Staying for 2 FULL segments, Tim offers advice to callers.  Belts are wonderful.  Customize your clothing for you.  And use the word “ravishing” more often…its so underused.

• On Tim Gunn on Project: It Does Get Better – Tim shared a very personal story about what bullying did to him at the age of 17…and the despair that it brought to him.  Telling people…reach out, get help, people care.  A personal journey that he shares…and by sharing, has probably changed someone’s life. 
• On Tim’s personal life – No partner right now.  Totally honest.. Single for almost 30 years…turning 58 tomorrow…mentions “I have to be honest with you, I haven’t been with anyone for almost 30 years…I’m really happy…and I have to say if I were to have a relationship, I’d have to give something up…” Tim shares.  Gayle feels a little sorry for him.  I actually TOTALLY understand that level of hurt he’s talking about.  I could TOTALLY be his friend…I think you should call me Tim! 
• On Tim in the Smurf Movie! – He’s such a BUSY guy!  SO FUN!
