About the Lunch Menu – Oh…just sandwiches in the studio…but listen to this menu! Warm sandwich Grilled eggplant. Chickpeas and watercress. Motzerella pressed sandwich with butternut squash and hazelnut brown butter. Grilled gruyere pressed sandwich with caramelized onions. All from the restaurant, Witch Craft. “Best sandwiches in the world,” Gayle tells us. Now, I’m hungry.
About Joining Forces to Honor Military Families – A genuine affection…all three of these women sit down for a warm, down to earth conversation. The connection and synergy is evident. The newest campaign is Joining Forces. 1% of our country is serving in the Armed Forces…and so many don’t know a military family. So, this is a campaign to raise awareness of what these families are doing for their country…and to remind the rest of us. Family stresses…and then some. These families are dealing with so much…the entire family. So this campaign is trying to connect the rest of us that don’t know a military family…to understand…to connect….to appreciates. “There stories took my breath away,” First Lady Michelle Obama says of these military families that she met along the campaign trail.
Step up and support them. “Electrifying,” Gayle calls these two women. They indeed are!
Dr. Jill Biden talks about having a real understanding of what these families are going through, with her own son deployed to war.

About the First Family – The kids do chores. Michelle’s mom does her own laundry…because she chooses to. And even though Bo is Michelle’s dog, the kid’s are in charge of walking and poop scooping. Michelle says, “We won’t be living in the White House forever…and they need to know how to make a bed…” The President is even an assistant coach on his daughter’s 4th grade basketball team…a team that also has the Vice President’s granddaughter is on the same team. So, it’s a real White House family affair at these games. Real people…
