Brave men and women are serving our country with honor and not receiving the care they need once they return. This is a huge problem and we need to care! After three failed marriages I have found something that will give people I love some insight into the “why” of my shortcomings in family life. It is Lisa Ling’s doc on PTSD: The Invisible Wounds of War. Is there any way that I can get a copy of this entire film? This is so very important to me!
Hi Paul. Thanks for finding The Daily OWN. We are not Oprah or OWN, just a fansite that tries to recap and get the word out about the amazing programming that is on the network. The PTSD program with Lisa Ling on “Our America” was really an “Aha” moment for many people. I do not know if they will be offering the DVD or if they will be replaying the program. I would suggest going to Oprah.com and use the “Let us know what you think” link to make some additional inquiries. If we find out any more information, we’ll be sure to pass it along here. As a niece of a Vietnam vet with PTSD, I understand first hand of the daily struggle and stolen lives that this brings and I’m so proud of programs like these that try to help others understand as well.
