Hilarious as always, Rosie joked about stretch pants, naming her son Parker and hanging out with “my gays”. However for someone who seems to have impeccable gaydar, Rosie shared that she has been caught off guards at times. When she met her girlfriend, Melissa, at Starbucks, it wasn’t until Melissa told her she was a lesbian that Rosie figured it out. BUT that hasn’t been an issue with the show. She seems to use the force. I am just praying that she doesn’t accidently out someone!

NOW let’s talk Hollee! In my last recap I mentioned they should hire her….I was elated to hear that they did. Even better, Rosie has Hollee read a cue card that tells her she has the gig until the end of the year. Totally AWESOME! I just love this show. It totally embodies some of the great things we all love about Rosie…her silliness, her honest and candid nature as well as her incredibly kind heart. Check out Hollee finding out the great news.

Then after a decade of taking a break, Brett Butler and Rosie took us back over her career. The Tonight Show, the injustices in the industry for women comics, and her “Charlie Sheen” moments. She shared her story of addiction. From pulling up to the posh rehab, to having Chris Farley ask her if she needed any help, her journey like so many others. Many of us have had addicts in our lives…extremely talented people who are destroyed by their addiction. It was wonderful to see her doing so well. Then I learned even more. Brett Butler is psychic. WHAT?? Okay…so with a few personal experiences of my own, I am always fascinated by stories and people who have these gifts. She is psychic, clairvoyant (clear seeing) and claircognizant (clear knowing). Although she knew for years that she had something special…it didn’t real until she started talking with animals, including FISH! It was great hearing her story and now…I may not be able to eat fish.

Rosie then took a few minutes out for her friend, Frank DeCaro, author of Dead Celebrity Cookbook which features recipes from 145 stars. I already posted some of them and have a shopping list for the brownies. I have my priorities!
