After what seems like long Alaskan winter, OWN is bringing us a new series this November.  Married to the Army: Alaska premiers November 18th, 10/9c and promises to bring a show about sisterhood in the real world of supporting families for those serving in our military.  Taking an in depth look into lives where doors normally remain closed, this program will hopefully shed some light on the world of the families of heroes left behind when their loved ones go off to war.  With permission from the Pentagon, OWN has been given unique access for this docu-series to give us a glimpse into the lives of the families of deployed service men.  Follow the lives of these 7 Army wives and get a glimpse of what their new normal looks like.  Open up your heart to see what families all over our country might look like when they sit down after a long day.  OWN is having a two-night premiere event beginning Sunday, November 18th at 10/9c and then on Monday, November 19th at 10/9c for the show.  Please show your support.  We’ll be there and tweeting with #MarriedToTheArmy.  We hope you are too!
