Following Rosie’s interview with Dermot Mulroney, she treated us to a second guest….none other than the only woman to have won Top Chef, Stephanie Izard. Apparently Rosie had recently visited her Chicago restaurant Girl & the Goat. Well, actually she cancelled on her first attempt to visit. But eventually she made the trek and was blown away by the food.
So as a special treat, Rosie invited Stephanie to the show to teach a little something about magic beans…a dish that blew Ro’s mind. While teaching us all how to make the delicious dish, Rosie informed Stephanie that next time her and Michelle come in….all veggies. Yes, that good people. As the wrapped the segment, she presented Rosie with a bobble-headed munny goat. It was very thoughtful. Ro let her know that she’d throw down some artsy glitz and return it to her so she can display it in her restaurant. Loved the idea!
Now back to the green beans! They look incredible and I can’t wait to try the recipe. I just need to figure out what I can substitute for the fish sauce…any suggestions? So, instead of me giving you the breakdown, Stephanie is so awesome that she actually posted the recipe!
